Hi,

Who knows how much and who you have to tip either with Christmas or Chinese new year?
I'm not sure but do you tip the cleaning aunties in your condo and the guard?? And if so how much??

thanks

yup... not sure whether its necessary to tip for xmas. i have heard people tipping for the CNY. there is no hard and fast rule about who & whom to tip, however, if you feel that either the cleaners or security guards at your condo have been doing a good job..then, tip them accordingly. they really don't earn that much, so you decide...whether a $10 or $50 suffices. Bet, they won't turn down a 'red packet' no matter the amount.
