Citizenship application was rejected after 2 years of processing.

Current household income over 200k. I already have started my plan B, hope that works .. more waiting.

My condolences. The granting of citizenship seems rather erratic to me, based upon the stories told on this forum. It would suggest that there is a great deal of internal disagreement within the gahmen over the "best" type of citizens Singapore should naturalize.

I actually had high hopes, I know I dont earn much but I do some niche research work that was featured in the few local and international newspapers including NY times.

Oh well, moral of the story is, I guess, race should be right! I really thought my work is going to supersede my race.

On the bright side, we are getting about quarter million if we withdraw our CPF =P~
