A bit out of the ordinary....

Post by atom999 » Fri, 21 Sep 2012 5:45 am

Hi all.

Ive been looking through this forum to gather information about moving to Singapore and looking for work.

A lot of the information I have found so far has been really helpful.

However, Im in a slightly unusual situation as whilst I am a Japanese national, I have had permanent resident status in the UK attending primary school, high school and university; after which I continued to work in the UK.

Indeed I speak Japanese fluently and have A Levels and GCSE (O-Level) but no experience working in Japan.

So do have a better chance looking for Japanese speaking Jobs or English speaking jobs?

Any comments or advice would be of great help.

Many thanks

Unless you have a degree and experince relative to the degree, you might well be hard pressed in finding any kind of job here, multiple languages or not.
