soulhuntsman - A friend of mine also from Pakistan earning 3K+, not married, rest all same like yours; got rejection after 17 months in June 2012.

Search this forum, you'll find few qualified Pakistanis getting rejections after 15 -17 months. Sorry I wish my thinking would wrong, but your rejection is on the way just wait for 15 - 16 months. Good Luck anyway...

SMS - SG Govt leaders (L.H.Loong, Tharman etc) say; Singapore is a Meritocratic country. I am just curious; is it not biaseness that Malaysians can get PR relatively easy?

Do they really call Singapore a Meritocratic Country? What is your opinion?

Sure it is. But you also must remember something else. Meritocracy only needs to extend to it's citizens. Nobody else. If you want to be part here you need to be far and away above your local competitor. Their first allegiance HAS to be be her own citizens. But when allowing in PR's or new citizens, you must also fit into the demographics as well. If you are allowed to have PR then to get ahead in your career, meritocracy rules (or at least plays a big part).

To play it your way, would mean ONLY P1s would ever get into Singapore.

Thanks Greenry82.... no comments..
For me, i like singapore...so wont see anything bad here coz every where has good and bad...this is the system, residents must follow the system.., pr approval or rejection depends on the system not being bias, perhaps. ... and and individual's luck plays a part too...i hope all goes well in my favour.
