Anchorage condo

We arrived here 1 week ago & are looking for an apartment to rent, has anyone got any experience (good or bad) of the anchorage on alexandra rd, are there many expats there?

havent lived there but heard there are leakage issues in some of the apartments due to the general age. So lookout for the same before putting your pen on the paper.

while it used to be popular among japanese and (later) koreans, there're now a lot more indians in that area (anchorage, queens, etc) due its close proximity to the indian int'l school.

if you can live with that (i know of people moving out because of the indians), it's not a bad location - 10 mins from the back gate is the train station, tons of buses, sports facilities and a few supermarkets nearby.

popular local food centres and ikea's nearby too! i know there're more than a handful of brits living there (some singles).
