Looking for maid for the first time. Any recommendations?

Dear all,

Looking for a maid who can take care of my pregnant wife. Anyone have any recommendations to maid agencies or maids? Will need the maid as soon as possible. Has to be english speaking and ideally with experienced in taking care of infants.

Thanks!

There are hundreds of agencies, good, bad and in between. I had a good experience with APAC at coronation plaza but really there are many you can look at.

One of the best ways to get a maid is if you can find one recommended by a family leaving Sing. For example - I saw Mary Hatch Bailey just posted another thread (one on marriage). Sounds like they like their helper and are leaving. Also - if you have any connection to any of the expat clubs in town - often people will post on the boards there. This way, you get a maid who is used to working with expats, and who is liked by her employers - they wouldn't bother trying to find her a new one if they didn't like her, presumably.

Good luck.
