I'm starting a very heavy job search and while I am consulting any headhunter I can find that deals with engineering and management, do job search websites actually lead to interviews or employment? Please share your success stories here?

Just so you know, I'm not looking for advice. I only want to start a topic to give others (like me) hope to continue their efforts.
