You mean like the bars on Duxton Hill? Don't need to go to Japan.
These days the bars at Duxton are likely to cost you $10k a grope...

Well, apparently S$10k is the going rate for three touches on SQ flight attendants.
UAE man who molested SIA girls fined $10k
SINGAPORE - A United Arab Emirates man who molested three Singapore Airlines stewardess was fined $10,000 after pleading guilty to two counts of outrage of modesty.
School teacher Ahmad Abdulla Saleh Alyasi, 41, was on a flight from Dubai to Singapore with his family on August 19 when the incidents happened.
The father of five first brushed his hand against a 23-year-old flight attendant's thigh. Facing no reprisal, he appeared to have been emboldened to touch the buttock of a 27-year-old flight attendant when she was attending to his daughter.
When she glared at him, he apologised and walked off.
Three and a half hours later, he touched the buttocks of another air stewardess who was arranging in-flight magazines.
The third victim confronted him and he apologised and walked off. He was later arrested when he arrived in Singapore.
The Ukrainian guy was three feels on the same flight attendant, right?

Theres actually a decent article on Asiaone dated September 4th called "Molest or honey trap?", worth reading. Among other things, it mentions a case where the "victim" was busted celebrating a few moments after the molestee was taken away. Also, apparently the British and French consulate web sites have posted warnings about these scams.

If you're an expat, and not a temporary traveller, I think you could successfully defend it.

With the number of Expats marriages that go belly up over here after a couple of years? You'd be hard pressed to defend it I'll warrant. Put it this way, no way in effin 'ell would I try it.

I would. I'm sure somewhere there is a magistrate just as sick of this obvious manipulation as I am.

You're an idiot and contributing nothing useful to a conversation about a topic of legitimate concern to expat men.

but if it is such blatant manipulation (as you claim it is) then wont the courts be able to see that and you'll be able to defend successfully, thus managing to throw the case out of court. or are you just trying to act tough but with no substance?

If you go and willingly grope a girl who doesn't want it then you deserve all you get, so obviously that is a bad idea. The problem is with those gold diggers who cry molest when someone brushes up against them in a crowded place (I just did it about 4 times to people on the MRT!).
In such a case, I would fight against it too and not pay up just so some materialistic b*tch can get the latest fashion MacDonalds bag (LV)

Thank you JayCee. This is exactly my view. Clearly Sensei is used to paying up

As a final point - to pay up in this situation is not different to paying a bribe - it's a form of corruption and it will only snowball if people don't push back against it.

My points too.
Genuine victims should fight their way until the perpetrators get jail/fine and genuine victims of molest-cry should stand their ground and fight until the gold diggers lose their hair that would have matched that shining new bag (if they can win the money to buy it).

Where do I act tough? I opened a discussion on a legitimate topic of concern to many expats and your response has been that I should engage in the exact illegal act that these expats have been accused of. As I said before; you sir, are an idiot. Furthermore your suggestion goes directly against the moderators request that this forum NOT discuss or provoke illegal acts.
