am planning to stay at WanChai as it is closer to the work I'm off to..

any recommendations on not too expensive Service Apartments? am staying from 8-11th Oct.
gadget shopping tips? - primarily photography equipment. (I own a Canon pro)

any other quick drop-ins..?? (I ve seen the Peak , Cable car.. will do Ocean Park.. dont wanna do DisneyLand)

the more tips the better!!! :) :???:

For gadgets and photo stuff, Wan Chai Computer center is right next to the MTR station in Wan Chai. Slightly better deals (emphasis on slightly) and a wider variety of photo stuff at the photo mall in Mong Kok. It's just like Wan Chai computer center, but in Mong Kok. It is just east of exit E2 and Mong Kok. If you look at this Google map, it is the building/mall the place labelled "cam2" is in:

As for Service Apartments in Wan Chai? Empire and Metro Park hotels are both in Wan chai, 3-4 star, and cheap if you book early. I wouldn't recommend anything cheaper. That's like asking for something cheaper than Hotel 81 in Geylang; you do know about Wan Chai at night, right? :P

How about food hunt? Do you have any personal recommendation(s)? I heard some people said that the dimsum in HK is far much better than SG.

I'm still gathering data for HK trip

Of course it's better. It originated there. Just like Singapore has better [insert everything we eat that originated in Singapore] than Hong Kong.

Check out OpenRice for food.

I'm still gathering some information about HK, since, according to some of my friends who went there, the people in HK is kinda rude (not sure why, but they said, it's the way they speak).
