Need help with basic web design software

Post by Tom01 » Thu, 23 Aug 2012 9:50 pm

Hi, all. I purchased software called Web designer 6 which is supposed to be an idiots guide to building a webpage. I'm having trouble understanding it as I'm not an IT guy at all. Can someone take a look at this for me? It should be easy if you understand this subject. I will buy you dinner if you can help me with this.

Also, if nobody can help me with this is there some government agency or university that helps the general public with computer-related matters? Many thank for all replies.

I believe there isn't any government agency that specifically helps with this. You can try your luck posting in hardwarezone forums, lol.
The only problem with life, is that there's no background music.

1. Your question is of the category: my car is broken, can you tell me please what's wrong with it?
2. The link is missing. Xara WD6? There seems to be many on-line tutorials, none of them worked for you?
3. I can imaging it could work by you typing a text document like you would do it with ms-word and the software translating to the "web code". The popular word processor can do this anyway.
4. No, I don't think there is such agency etc.
5. You would be better off asking this kind of question on some local forum forum with some hungry students.
