there's no question in my mind that Eastern European mafia have somehow breached Singapore's corruption free work pass system somehow. The bars in OT are slowly being bought up by them as well.

You're completely ignorant of the real world. My ex boss had been a drug detective for over a decade and has ongoing contacts with many other current drug detectives. It takes an experienced eye to notice what is not meant to be noticed. Stay in your PS world.

You surely didn't go into the old 392 as Palais Renaissance,next door to O/T, now sits on the land where the old 392 was. Or are you talking about the new 392, which has changed it's name around 3 times now, in the back block of O/T? You haven't been here long enough! The NZ armed forces got drunk one night (not any different than any other night back in those early '80's, to be truthful) and had a massive brawl in the old 392 that virtually destroyed the place and it closed up. That was back in either 81 or 82.

By the by, the ORIGINAL Club 392 was named very simply by it's Orchard Road address. It was located at 392 Orchard Road. Then there was the Tropicana, the Jockey Club, and the Infamous Offshore Land Club in Anson Road. I was there and witnessed the fight at 4 am that closed that club down - I crew changed to Matuk, Indonesia on the Old Grumman Albatross that flew out of Seletar Airport 3 hours later (Conoco).
