Sistic - Collection from Event Venue - When do they open?

Post by chuckd » Tue, 21 Aug 2012 12:00 pm

Does anyone happen to know what time the ticket desk would normally open for a Sistic event in Fort Canning Park?

Was looking at buying a ticket for Garbage tonight and picking the ticket up at the ticket desk. The purchase page advises that Collection of tickets ENDS 1 hour before show time. But there is no indication as to when ticket collection starts.

My schedule is a bit tight today, so had been thinking of possibly trying to pick up the tickets earlier in the day.

Will of course be trying to call them, but thought I'd see if anyone on here had experience of this.

Normally, I use the Sistic collection desks, I am not sure if that would be possible on the day of the gig, but, it works well a day or few before and they have a number of them over the island.

Cheers nutnut, I've used the same collection desks before, but unfortunately ticket collection isn't available from the island wide sites on the day of the gig. Collection is from the venue only.

Guess I'm just gonna have to take the plunge and hope I can make it to the venue before 6:45pm.

As far as I know, they're not usually so strict about being there one hour before the start time. I think I've collected tics 30mins before hand for a gig ages ago at Fort Canning park. Anyway, good luck! And hopefully, will see you there? I'm going solo and would be brilliant to catch up over a beer before it all starts - even if, the drinks stalls at the event are gonna be a tad overpriced.
