Real Estate Investments Networking

Post by Franksg7 » Mon, 20 Aug 2012 2:01 am

Hello,

I am interested in pursuing a role in Real Estate Investment and was hoping I could get some advice from people in the industry.

Just to give you some background, I graduated from Columbia University last year with a Bachelor’s in Urban Studies and a concentration in Economics. I have since worked in Seoul and Hong Kong with two engineering consulting firms.

Through my time in Asia, I have decided that I would like to transition into a role which is more geared towards real-estate finance, as I would like to begin to evaluate projects from an investment perspective and not just from the technical point of view.

In general, I am hoping to get some direction as to which might be the best path to enter and thrive in this field. I am willing and motivated to do whatever it takes to move up the learning curve fast, so any life advice would be much appreciated!

I would like to grab a coffee or drink with people in the industry and am more than willing to meet at your convenience. Thanks again.

Kindly,

Frank
