Anyone's been to Osaka or Kyoto or nearby places?
As I have been swamped with work as of late, it would be great to get some detailed info on some of the most scenic temples/shrines/castles, beautiful gardens, delectable food, unique outdoor markets, relaxing onsen, world-class museums, etc. during the peak period in Autumn.
Budget is not an issue and as much as possible, I would like to have a multi-dimensional experience ie I would like to try some of the cheapest things that offer great value for money as well as some of the finest that Kyoto or Osaka has to offer.
