I always knew it India gives the best bang for your buck. If you are an Indian then you also have that home advantage.

Just to clarify , as is the case in any Asian country, the "foreigner" rate for even NRIs is going sky high. The exception applies only to those few NRIs who still behave "Indian".

You mean they must have a gang-rape mentality?

That may be an added advantage
Don't forget pushing women and children when boarding a bus or plane or train, and in the process accidentally brushing more than a few boobs- and if a woman gives the look, you give a look in return like she deserved it ..

I think one has to consider discretionary vs non-discretionary spending. The US vs healthcare is perhaps because it's so damned expensive there. Ditto for Japan and housing.

Hi guys.
This is my first post so please be gentle. I'll be relocating from the U.K to work in Seletar aerospace park. Could anyone please advise on where would be a suitable
condo to rent around $1500 a month please. Also what other bills would I be looking at please? I'm travelling on my own so a one bedroom studio might be a good option. I look forward to your replies. Many thanks

I think you can get a 1 bedder in Punggol or Sengkang for this price.
They are not far from Seletar Aerospace Park , and now they have the new roads open I think too and from Seletar is now quite speedy.
Will company be providing transport or will you be making your own way?

Really good idea but the data way to general.
I remember, just coming back from Iceland (country), compared it with London. The difference was not as big, but the Icelandic prices were 5-6 years outdated.
