Do dependent babies have FIN cards? Required to carry it?

Post by cw1483 » Mon, 13 Aug 2012 2:36 pm

I was wondering if babies/children also get FIN cards?

I have already collected my PEP pass and spouse has dependent pass. Both of us have a card the size of a credit card to carry around. Seems like I need to carry this around as ID.

My toddler is coming to Singapore next week, will she need such a card? The EPSC did say to bring my child there the next time. However, I wasn't sure if they too need to bring picture and get fingerprinted and issued such a card.

Any ideas?

The little one will have one since she will be a resident alien in Singapore, albeit on a dependent pass.

Your toddler will get a card with photo on it - there is a cheap photo place at the EPSC. Fingerprinting is not required though you will have to staple the card to your toddler's forehead until they are able to grip properly and not lose stuff.
