Not 100% but try Challenger, at least the one in Funan.

I'm rather certain you can't officially buy them here. If EpiCenter doesn't sell them, no one will officially.

If you have a credit card in a country that sells them, just order them through your iTunes client. Just switch to the store you have a card for. You then can email them to anyone, and anyone can credit their account for any iTunes Store.

how does everyone store credit in their itunes account if they don't use the itune gift/top up cards? Do you link it to a creditcard?

Yes, that is what most people (apple customers) do.

Most of Apple's customers do. They also take Paypal, so you can use that and fund it however you want. Pretty sure you can fund paypal in SG from an AXS machine.

i bought a $10 gift card over the internet last week... i googled and clicked on one that had a physical store at far east shopping centre. (just in case, y'know!)

i transferred money into their account and got the codes the following afternoon.

i think i paid $14. there was another guy selling it for $12.80 but he had no store and didn't respond to my text messages.

Is that S$14 for US$10 card, or US$14 for a $10 card?

If you look around, you cna sometimes find the cards for under their stored value. Actually, if you go to taobao, you can find them for way under their stored value, but those cards are purchased with stolen CCs usually. If that moral quandary doesn't bother you, you can save a lot of money. I would recommend spending it all within 1-2 months though (before the chargeback rolls through and gets processed by Apple), and not using an iTunes account with your real name :D

i paid S$14 for a US$10 card. the other site (no response to my text messages) was selling them for S$12.80 for a US$10 card.

never thought about trying to pay less, in case i got ripped off. better to over pay by a few dollars and get the real deal (hopefully) than to gamble and get scolded by the wife for botching the purchase up.

the process for buying those itunes codes via the internet through an "intermediary" seem to be (for those that are interested):

* pay for your purchase
* wait for someone to call and verify payment information between 30mins to 48 hours
* wait for someone to give you the codes (which may or may not work)
* try it out by entering it into the iphone redeem thing
* get scolded by the wife for not getting it done right the first time when it doesn't work
* try to find a more "reputable place" to repeat the above and pray for a different outcome

funnily, i bought whatsapp and her phone has now a credit balance of $8.25 - i thought it was a 99c purchase.

There are no Apple Stores in Singapore. OP can buy them online through iTunes if they switch to the iTunes store US. It's really easy to get around the minimal restrictions Apple has to force you to your own country's store.
