Looking for shoes - where could I buy some?

Post by Hograh » Mon, 06 Aug 2012 1:36 pm

Hey,

I need some sandals, but I have size 45-46 (I think this is about 11-12). I was in "Giant" yesterday and it was really hard to find some fitting slippers. Where can I buy sandals in my size (I live near Kent Ridge MRT Station).

Are there some shops selling shoes at HarbourFront? I just found "crocs" which did not seem to be what I was looking for.

Any tips? :) Asians seem to have smaller feet :D

I find it really difficult, I am a UK 13 /US 14, but found flip flops in Croc shop to fit just fine. There is a skate shop in Century square in Tampines that sell up to US15 for Vans/DC/Etnies trainers.

Other than this, I have not tried the place SMS suggests, I think I may! :)

And I have problems trying to find shops that sell shoes for size 4 without having to be ushered to kids' department :(

I also have shoe size 45. I mostly order my business shoes via an online retailer starting with Z (SMS, I am not allowed to post the link, right? 8-) ) Send me a PM if you want the address. For leisure shoes I often get lucky at Bata.

Furthermore, I stick to western brands and go to sales, where it often happens that the shops cant sell their bigfoot sizes, so I get lucky. :)

However, dont bother at really local places such as Mustafa, etc...

Whoa i thought i had it bad with 40, 41. I have no idea where you would find those.

There is an online shop with the option to shop by size. They don't seem to have a huge range in your size but there are some. Look up Zalora Singapore, go to shoes and look down on the left margin. Free delivery and returns.

Just realized I'm 48.5 in your sizes you are talking about! You'd probably get work shoes in Clarks (there's one in Suntec) and Ecco and places like that! You know, decent quality footwear, rather than fashion stuff.

Suntec has lots of shops and I was able to find US 11/11.5 for boots and sandles in a number of stores.

On the subject, I'm having trouble locating a particular type of shoe lace for my shoes. I need brown, heavy duty boot laces. 60-70 cm (24-28 in) is the length. Currently I'm just looking around when I go out, but I'm not really wanting to make it an island wide expedition just to find shoe laces. I would much rather know where I'm going, get what I need and get out of the store before my wife thinks it's a good idea to buy something else that we don't need.

Thanks for any help I may receive in the future.
Uno mas, por favor.
