new to Singapore with 22 month boy in West Coast, Botannia

We (my husband and i with our 22 months old boy) will arrive in Singapore in Aug, and will live in Botannia at West Coast area. As my husband will soon on work, the little boy and i will stay at home. We wish to see new friends around, we can visit each other or play at home or go to the West Coast Park in the afternoon:).
