Which Bank has the best LC, T/T rates in Singapore?

Post by tjdwls85 » Sat, 21 Jul 2012 12:32 pm

Can anyone tell me which bank has the best rates for LC, T/T in Singapore?

I was trying to find the answer to this question in this forum but couldn't find any...

I am intending to open a corporate bank account and would like to know which would be the best if I intend to import products into Singapore.

Your help is greatly appreciated

Hi there,

There is no standard answer to this as banks are willing to tailor packages. please contact the banks with your intended transaction profile. Its still best to go the old fashioned way of meeting face to face if possible.

I almost gave up on this post. After doing some research the "old fashioned way" I came to the same conclusion as you have advised me. I shouldn't be lazy and go to the bank myself. It takes longer to get an answer through the phone than to actually meet a banker in person.

Any updates on what packages the banks are offering? I'm setting up my own business as well and I need to open a corporate account. Can I use my posb current account as my corporate account too? Can't seem to find the link for corporate accounts on the site. Any advice?

... And there he goes again. How many links is it now? SEO 'consultant', or 'pay by link'?

I would like to challenge AndyWillie to make another post hyperlinked to any bank other than POSB/DBS or to make a post of POSB/DBS without the hyperlink.

Just to prove that he is not soliciting.
