German TV Programmes

Can anyone give advice how to get German TV Programmes here in Singapore. Will be moving to Singapore shortly. Thanks.

Starhub offers Deutsche Welle, thats all you can get. No Sat1, RTL, Pro 7, etc...

However, you can get some of the programs as podcasts.

lol... I still don't understand why you can watch "Deutsche Welle" in pretty much each country round the world, EXCEPT Germany :D The ZDF Mediathek is great... but if you really want to watch German TV, you should get a satellite organized. One of my friends in China did so. He payed around 300 - 400 EUR, including the installation. Not sure whether there's any provider of those satellite systems in Singapore though... :?

Not a very good idea as satellite dishes are illegal in Singapore.
