Hello all,
I am part owner and a director of 2 Singapore resident companies.
I actively work in both businesses.
I am currently located outside of Singapore.
If I get an Employment Pass to relocate to Singapore via one
of these companies, could I continue to work and take salary
from the other as well ?
I suppose I could still act as Director and take Director's Fees (?)
thanks...

EP for multiple companies
If you can prove that both companies are part of the same group, permission for working under and receiving compensation from multiple companies can be received by making a case with the Ministry of Manpower.

Hi,
Just a tweak to this scenario. Since, I own both the business, once I move to Singapore, is it possible that I am employed by only one. With regards to other company, I am just the share holder ( Notemployed)
That means, I have the Profits from both but Salaried income from only one. And I no more legally look under the operations of other.
In legal terms, employed at one, and investment/ share holder at other.
Thanks in advance for any advise

As long as you have a real managing director for the business in which you are a shareholder, there shouldn't be a problem.sktale wrote:Hi,
