EP renewal process..

may i know if EP renewal process is the same as the application for the EP itself? if it is approved does not mean it is issued right(for renewal)?

do i need thumb scan and stuffs again?or is it just getting card right away? do i need photo again?

can somebody brief me ..anybody who gets their ep renewed recently cann telll me the process? bcoz my ep is going to xpire soon..wonder if i need to stay here or not urgent

Your company, not you, applies for an EP and its renewal.
Ask your company's HR people, they will know!

Whether a new photo id & fingerprinting will be required is specified in the notification letter once the EP renewal is approved & issued. In general if the EP was first issued less than three years ago it will not be required.

Important note about EP renewal: It must be submitted minimum two weeks prior to expiry.
