Wool carpets - does it make sense to move them to Sing?

Post by imalipusram » Fri, 13 Jul 2012 6:22 am

Hi folks,

all actually is in the subject. Currently planning our relocation to Sing from Germany, I wonder if it makes sense to move our oriental carpets (sheep wool, not really valuable, but I like them)?

Will they withstand the climate (humidity!) without demanding for aircon day and night? Will they survive the shipping by sea in a container at all?

Any comments, experience, hints you would like to share?

No idea on shipping, but this page has details on your carpet:

I wouldn't bring it personally.
