Hi
My family (SC spouse and SC son) and I are relocating from london to Singapore.
I'm a consultant but the company I am currently working with wish to hire me locally in Singapore and secure my visa etc.
I don't need a relocation package as my wife's company are offering that to her.
Should I opt for a LTVP+ or an EP? And should I then look to apply for PR? My salary will be above 250ksgd
I have previously held an EP in Singapore, about 7 years ago.

If the job is on the table, just get the EP. You would lose the LTVP/LTVP+ anyway as soon as you get the job so why create more unnecessary paperwork.
In fact, why not just apply for a PEP. That will solve a lot of changing and with 5 years should hold you till PR.

SOME PEOPLE TRY TO TURN BACK THEIR ODOMETERS. NOT ME. I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW WHY I LOOK THIS WAY. I'VE TRAVELED A LONG WAY, AND SOME OF THE ROADS WEREN'T PAVED. ~ Will Rogers

Thanks vm for yor comments.
I've researched applying for PR from London ... Thanks again Saint for all your other helpful posts on that!
But it seems to take at least 2 months and we plan to be in Singapore by then so I'm thinking I should take up the offer of a company sponsored EP and apply for PR when I set foot in Singapore.
My only worry is that as a Consultant and Company Director I don't currently have a regular income just a profitable business is that likely to make the form filling difficult?
