No, you won't. Several locals admit to just downloading illegal copies or getting bootleg DVD's across the border.

I wish it were because of something ideological like this (http://cdn.thenextweb.com/files/2010/02/piratedvd.jpg) but mostly likely, Asians are just cheap.

i tried amazon but shipping is apperently not possible, also if i use an forein website the shipping is really expensive. The reason for buying it online is that it is supposed to be cheaper, can better go to a shop then i think ;)

Why do u even want to go shop, thats a girls thing man.. I rather sit at the pool with a corona and my macbook, ordering some things online, then walking in a huge crowd and hurting my feet and get tired.. Also if i go shopping my girlfriend comes to, do u have any idea how mutch that cost? Naah i prefer to buy online, much cheaper, and wayy more relaxing

Well, i guess in europe alot of people downoad to, but i prefer to buy these things. Quality is much better on a real specimen and i like to support the hard work that the producers and actors put in to these movies..

Haha link is exactly how it is, thats to bad, we should have the best of 2 worlds, no commericals, but still an original one.. Probably never happens though..

No problem with shipping DVDs from amazon.com. OP probably did not notice that amazon.com sells also stuff from different vendors and they may have such restrictions. Anyway, I typically buy from these two:
cduniverse.com
deepdiscount.com

Hi NickDutch,

You can try http://www.gramophone.com.sg

They provide free delivery within Singapore. And the prices are cheaper than HMV or other shops... I bought quite a few titles from them.

If you ship through amazon, it's cheaper if you go through comgateway.com. When I ship t shirts for personal use, it's a good 20-50% cheaper than shipping via USPS or DHL
