If you aren't resourceful enough to find the answers to these questions by yourself, you should reconsider running a business.
Therefore only in short:
- You cannot start your own business on a DP.
- Investor visa is possible if you have S$1.5million and fulfil some other criteria (like, having a business plan).

Sorry, but a DP CAN start their own business in Singapore. The OP really ought to do some research before posting these questions... many useful threads already exist.

Strong Eagle is right, it is possible for a Dependant Pass holder to start their own business/company. I believe other threads have answered this.

My wife is on Dependent pass and she got approval from MoM to work in her own biz venture. You can read more about it in my blog

Yes, I agree on this point. Obviously, a DP can also start their own business in Singapore. He/she just need to follow mom.
And no doubt, with you posting from Delhi, you'd have a wealth of information on this topic?

According to what I've seen and heard from other places (and some friends) before, it's possible. But if, like you said before, they changed the regulations recently, then I don't really know.
