Peak times at Changi Airport

Post by Hograh » Mon, 09 Jul 2012 2:14 am

Hi,

I'm moving to Singapore in a few weeks and will arrive on a Thusday at 2pm. I read that cabs in Singapore are quite cheap and it could happen that you have to wait for a free one during peak hours. Does anyone know what the peak hours are? How long do you think I'll have to wait? After travelling more than 20 hours I would prefer not to wait donkey's years for a cab. As the circumstances require I would rather organize someone picking me up.

Thanks!

Thursday 2pm should be fine, you might not queue more than 5 minutes, or at all. Peak is rush-hours, or take note, if it is chucking down with rain.

I don't think I've ever waited more than 15-20 mins for a cab, even on a Friday night...

Don't worry. When it comes to airport, you will be surprised to find a long queue of taxi drivers instead of the other way round. Airport is the best place in the island for taxi drivers. :)
