What does small companies do in Singapore to recover small debts from individual clients? I mean money in the SGD100-300 range? I understand that you can always go to SCT but leaving aside time spent is it possible to recover the money and related expenses this way? What if the court rules in your favor and the person still does not pay?
Related: Is there any kind of Bad Debtor Register that you can apply to have such person included in it?

We've always used the SCT. Normally it's enough to scare them and they usually pay up. Otherwise, we write it off as the first legal letter would cost upwards of $300 anyway.
