Mine got rejected after 10 months. Better to be prepared for a rejection instead of being too positive about acceptance.

Have you seen queues in Singapore? After your turn comes and you leave the counter, if you again need something else, you need to go back to the end of the queue. Same logic!

If the ICA website tells its rejected, then it is rejected.
On a positive note, be happy that the rejection was quick and didnt take another 11 months :)

Indeed. The appeal was presumably rejected for the same reasons as the original application. If there were no substantive changes in circumstances between the application and the appeal then frankly that would not be an unexpected outcome.
Be careful what you wish for

Grassroot leader-

My wife details
Race:Indian
Salary:3.5k
Age:27
Qualification:Master degree

My son PR was applied on dec-2012
My wife PR was applied on March 2013.
Yesterday i was received the letter from ICA"We have considered ur application, including supporting documents. We regret to inform you that your application is not successful"

I plan to goto meet Local MP.

Can appeal? Or better wait and re-apply

Can anyone help to advise? Really appreciated
I feel for you but don't waste time appeal or seek help for MP. MP will not attend to you unless you are a Singaporean or PR. Anyway, it's also waste of time to look for MP( trust me, i have my fair share of experience) as what ICA say is final.
My advice to you is the same as SMS. Wait till you are married for more then 2 yrs, have improvement in salary and pay income tax before you apply again. Appeal is a waste of time and giving you false hope.

yes, i agree with the rest. TS, you should have heed their advises and not went to find MP for appealing. This will only portrait yourself of being "desperate" of wanting PR status for your wife and son.

What you should do now is be patient if it's rejected, then accept it and wait for another few years before re-applying.
