Cheap notary public?

Post by sweetflea » Mon, 02 Jul 2012 3:10 pm

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced notary public?

I have approx 10-15 pages that I need to have witnessed and notarised.

I'm aware of various generic listings out there (yellow pages, law association etc) but if anyone has a specific Notary that was good to deal with and cheap, please let me know!

Much appreciated, thanks!

I've tried 'em. They charge a flat rate (I forgot how much but it's around 10...or is it 15?) then 2 bucks per additional page. Caveat: notarial services are only 4-5 pm, weekdays. My memory is a bit fuzzy so try giving them a call.

I tried calling 'em. They are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE than other notary public. They charge 75 dollars for a page. Beware!!

Realize that my post was back in 2012. It is not ludicrous for a Singaporean entity to jack up their prices to ridiculous levels in such a short amount of time.

I would just ask my local lawyer - he's done it for free before. But that's because we have had a long relationship. Can you local embassy notarize for less?
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!
