Full Time Live Out Maid

Hi all,

We're a week into living in Singapore and have settled well so far.

I've read lots of threads about maids and I'm going round in circles a bit. I wondered if anyone here could tell me whether this is legal and if so realistic.

Basically I would like a live out maid who would work pretty much full-time - say 1pm to 8pm 4 nights a week and until 11pm 2 nights a week sort of a thing. With some flexibility. I realise it would cost me more as I think I would need to pay her rent but if someone could please advise me I'd really appreciate it.

It is legal and realistic - just hire an SG citizen or PR for this full time job. No need to pay them accommodation as they will be the locals. Expect to pay at least 2x as much as you would for a l-in maid. Expect substandard quality.
