The Juban Bar on Boat Quay

Post by Zeenit » Fri, 29 Jun 2012 11:49 am

We went last night to the Juban Bar on Boat Quay and all I can say is that by the time we left ( 5 hours after we arrived) the MRT was shut and we had to get a taxi home. Head still hurting….LOL.

SO if you guys want to try it out please go. Good view, good food and good Saki, Wine and beers. Not so sure my husband should of had a few Sakis.

So we will be going again, God help me head, but I am making it on a non school night next time.

We should delete that post as it's blatant advertising! Reviews of eating/drinking establishments are usually put in places like hungrygowhere or the like. Giving reviews here without being asked for them is usually a recipient of the hammer. However, seeing the owner is one of our own, I guess I'll take is as a recommendation for a future location for an Eagles gathering. ;-)

I passed by it on the way to Absynthe the other night and thought of y'all. We might have gone in if our supper hadn't lasted 3 hours lol. They just moved to Boat Quay a few days ago and apparently their front of house staff are working out some logistical kinks... the food's still fab though. I'll have to drop by the Juban Stand soon too. Lovely view :-)

We're forgetting a very important question:

Can you sit?

Yes we sat all night. Even inside at the bat was seats. There are some standing "tables" which are the big white barrels.

SMS, sorry I did not see it as advertising, blame the Saki. :D :D :D
