New to singapore 29/m

Post by Pathmanp » Thu, 28 Jun 2012 10:44 am

Hi There.

I’m 29, well-travelled, fairly new to Singapore. Looking for a relaxed friendship and someone to hang out with after work. So if you like the following or a subset of it we should hang out:

1) Movies – I’m a movie buff

2) Food and coffee – foodie, I’m always on the lookout awesome places for dinner, don’t care for super fine dining. Any place with good food will do.

3) Working out – This does not imply I am in shape or anything, only that I’d like to be 

4) Comedy clubs – I know of one in particular, but they only take group bookings.

Pat

Hello,

I'm not moving to Singapore until September, but want to start to get in touch with people before I move. I'm 31/F from Toronto and like the list of interests that Pat posted. Have you guys organized anything yet?

I am not well travelled at all, so I'm a bit worried about this big move, hoping to connect with a few nice people before my move so that I can get together with them when I arrive.

Have you guys found any good comedy clubs?

good to see some feedback.

Nice to see lots of newbies wanting to hangout.

If we can get a date and time together I can try and arrange an outing. The comedy club I'm refering to is Comedy Masala. Apparently it's really good, it's held on Tuesday nights, we'll need to make a booking for a group.

Alternatively we could all meet for dinner and drinks on weekday evenings. I'm on Orchard most weekdays.

Cheers
Pat

Making a Plan

Post by SarahSunshine » Wed, 01 Aug 2012 10:43 pm

Hey,
I think it would be a great idea to make a plan to meet up, thanks for offering to take this on Pat. I'm still waiting to get my visa form, so not sure when I'll be in Singapore, hopefully within the next 2 weeks. So, I won't be able to join anything before that, but looking forward to meeting up when I arrive. Let me know how things go and I'll let you know when my flight is booked!

tuesday 28th

Post by Pathmanp » Thu, 02 Aug 2012 10:11 am

How about Tuesday the 28th?

Hopefully Sarah will have arrived by then and can join us. The club opens at 9. Maybe we can do dinner before hand. There's some nice restaurants close by. Need show of hands for the booking.
