Tailor Recommendation Required!

Post by Pops » Tue, 26 Jun 2012 9:37 am

Hi, we have some international visitors coming over and they have asked for a good tailor to get some things made. Does anyone have any recommendations? We have not used a service as such here yet. I have seen so many around, and have seen where the actual work is done, but where to get the good fabrics etc?

Any help greatkly aprpeciated - John

Christian Armani in Far East Plaza, as tried and recommended by many posters here. That said, you can use the search for other posts about tailor recommendations.

I used Tony Balows in Lucky Plaza recently for a wedding suit and a wedding dress...they made both perfectly!

They are located at the side door to Lucky Plaza...

We've used Sam's Tailors at Far East Plaza for a few suits. Quite satisfied with the workmanship and service. They can turn around a suit for you in a few days if you're in a rush, and also keep your measurements if you want to order from them in the future.

Can you folks give a little more info on what kinds of material your suits were made of and what the costs were?

I've had my share of dodgy suits - here, Thailand, and finally found a guy I like on Killeny.

My HK tailor is good but his prices are higher than here and then there's shipping.
