Uniquely Singapore

Hi there,

I came over just a month ago and I would love to start travelling around Singapore to see what it's like here.

(so far, I was practically living in my office)

any suggestions where I can start?

not looking for any place fancy, or shopping centres. just looking for any place where you might have felt is quite unique or "Singaporean"

sorry to hear that you have been stuck in office in all your time here. My country is a very beautiful and nice place.

something that is unique to singapore would be its food.There are many good food around singapore , starting from which would be our hawker center.Then there is pulau ubin which is definately special to many singaporean.

It all depends on the kind of person you are.if you love nature then you may like to check out pualu ubin or Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve or bukit timah hill or even sentosa...
maybe you can state your area of interest then i can recommend some places.

Singapore is not exactly a big place. But if you manage to make friends in singapore your stay here will be most happy.I believe once you start making singaporean friends, they will bring you around.Sometimes its not the place but the company you make that makes it more interesting.
