Hey Everyone!

I'd be interested in any skiing trips, haven't skied in a few years and would love to get back into it, keep me posted on any trips :)

Cheers

Skiing in Japan

Post by skimegheath » Sat, 24 Aug 2013 3:44 pm

Hi

Does anyone know what is the easiest resort to get to in Japan from Singapore? I am an intermediate/advanced skier (lots of lessons over the years). Have been lucky to ski colorado, australia, NZ, france, Canada and Austria. Am thinking of heading to Japan for a CNY ski before heading to Colorado in March.

Thanks

I am planning a trip to snowboard on the week of 21st December to France, Val thorens. Going there for 2weeks. Anybody interested for either week or both weeks? It is the highest ski-able location in Europe with year round skiing, so there is guaranteed snow. It will cost about 1000 sgd for one weeks accom, 3 meals a day, instruction and ski pass. For students it will only cost 800 as shown in the link below.

Hi guys,

We're a friendly bunch organising an awesome ski trip to Hokkaido, Japan at the end of the year Dec 2015/Jan,Feb 2016. Destination would most likely be Niseko but we're exploring other options as well. Do let me know if any of you ski/snowboard enthusiasts would like to come along!

Take a look at the link below for more details or contact me at [email protected]

Hi Alex,

If I may, a suggestion - why not start a new thread under "snowtrip 2015".
The problem with using one from 2012 is that we cannot tell exactly when it turns into the one for 2015 along the thread.

Was skiing in Niseko end Mar, and amazingly still plenty of snow (but bit icy), and way less crowded as compare to dec. Will definately go back next Mar rather than dec-Feb peak period.
