It worked though, after a couple of months of this, every time I alighted from the carriage at AMK, the ranks would part just like moses parting the red sea! ;-)

Who says Pavlov's response isn't a good thing!

I will intentionally ram these idiots on shoulders if they crowd into my path as I go out of the carriage.

The only exception I give is to old people. Sure they can be as rude and inconsiderate as the younger ones but bless their soul...

+1 +1. The exception in my case is that I occasionally selectively choose to not hide my facial amazement when it happens.

I also make examples of young people who don't accommodate the old, injured, handicapped or pregnant - and I've seen that happen with each.

MDA has recently blocked my favorite porn site and many more. I hate Singapore.

Get a VPN. With that you can see anything, like stuff on Hulu, Pandora, etc.

I keep saying that but have yet to....

Which one did you go with? Was it easy to set up? How much did it cost?

I find having a stroller helps. Move or lose your toe nails :-)

I went with Hotspot Shield. I just installed the 7 day trial. I have no idea what the cost is and I dont think I am going to pay for it. I will use it until the trial lasts and then see if there is a way to reset the trial period ;)

The installation is very simple. At the end of it you need to provide an email address to begin your trial.

Abuse runs to the very core of those from the subcontinent. Prime example.

Err.. You may want to look up at software piracy rates by country.

We are not all that bad. We have good company in Philippines.
Indonesia, russia and china are way ahead of us :)

Talking about abuse, the other day I read this article about Russian scandal. I was shocked and saddened on reading it.

All countries are the same. Greed knows no race or nationality.

no one pays for software..... until the virus that you've spawned wipes out your precious data and steals your money.
it was a harsh lesson for many people in india who went ahead and purchased counterfeit and pirated software.

Microsoft started combating piracy by issuing low cost versions of their software in 3rd world/developing countries. it seems to have worked
people are finally waking up to realize legit software is not so bad after all.

More than software piracy I frown upon music piracy. I'd rather have people buy songs via mp3/cds
