Outside cooking. I loathe the smell of cooking and I'm allergic to fish so find the smell of that particularly nauseating. My laundry smells of hor fun and not in a good way.

I'd definitely have to wash my sheets before the wife got back if my sheets smelled like that.

Unless I'm mistaken it's too late already because IIRC, Hannieroo is a dudette.

I was trolling.......
Was hoping for a nibble. I got it. Will start a new thread and Hannieroo, you have officially been invited. Details to follows so look for a thread title that has the Eagles innit. (not the band, but I did go to their concert here in 2011 - outtasight!)
I think we may have two other "new" long time regulars as well if I can get the dates right!

It made me chuckle as obviously everyone has been through the same experience!
You forgot the one where most Locals treat their maids as real slaves and then the government writes in new rules to say stop mal treating maids.....obviously it has the same effect as the local driving test
Thanks for the funny side!
Ha ha I was actually thinking about how the Singapore government once had a campaign getting local people to Smile more

I'm pretty new in Singapore and went through the whole thread. It made me laugh quite a bit; now I know I'm not imagining things and being too much of a grouch!
