PEP Application from Overseas

Post by coker1 » Wed, 20 Jun 2012 1:17 am

I am looking to apply for PEP from overseas based on the criteria that my salary is above S$8000. My understanding is that the application has to be submitted through SingPost and I need to provide the address of a local contact who is a PR or citizen for correspondence with MOM.

I do not know anyone in Singapore who is a PR or citizen. I was wondering if anyone else here faced this problem and how they got around it. Are there any people/agencies who provide this service. The ones I have spoken to charge a hefty fee (~S$1200).

Appreciate your feedback!

If you don't know someone willing to sponsor you, your only option is to use an agency. That is one of the cheaper fees I've seen quoted.

I used to do this for free to help out people. But I got stepped on. I'll do it for a fee for you... much less than what you have been quoted... and with a letter of indemnity... if you are interested, drop me a line at my email address... or make enough posts to PM me.

Just out of curiosity, will that be alright for an individual SC/PR to repeatedly pops up in different individuals' PEP application (like in your case, offering to help PEP applicants?

Of course it will be different if you're an agency but like I said, just curious. :)
