Condo rental - 10/11 August - River Valley

Post by Bakes » Tue, 19 Jun 2012 9:09 pm

Hi,

I have an opportunity to relocate to Singapore in the next six to 12 months. I lived and worked in Singas in the late 90's / early 00's for a number of years but my family have not spent any time in Singapore.

We will be staying in Singapore on the nights of Friday 10 & Sat 11 Aug on the way back from a trip to the UK and I was hoping for my wife and our two children (7 & 5) to experience a brief in sight into expat life in a condo setting. So rather than staying in a generic hotel I was hoping to see if there were any families in the River Valley area that might be interested in renting/sub letting their appartment for a couple of nights?

I used to live on Jervois Road so I am familiar with the broader area and hoped to open a dialogue with any interested families that might already be planning to be away for that weekend. I could also offer a house swap for a holiday house on the NSW south coast at any time if that is more preferable?

I look forward to hearing from the Expat community.

Regards

Tim

I am not sure if you will get a house swop etc as its not allowed in our leases. Also I am not sure anyone will hand a stranger keys to their homes.
Sorry to be a bearer of bad news.

Once your kids are in school your wife will find loads of other expat families to befriend.
