travelling to HongKong
I just came back from a conference there. I didn't have much time to sight see, so I went to Big Buddha and hopped on a bus tour out to Tai O fishing village (which was moderately interesting...) while I was there on Lantau. The cable car out there was probably the best part. The highlight of HK for me was the architecture and vibe of city life in the Central-Wan Chai-Mid Levels-Causeway Bay area. Mostly our time was spent walking leisurely (as leisurely as you can in that very hilly area!) between restaurants that were recommended to us and our hotel (YWCA on Macdonnell rd in the mid levels).
