Hi everybody,
My name is Nicolas, I'm 21 and I'm french. I do a 6 months internship in Singapore, and look for a nice place to live during this period. I want to stay with other students, in order to have a lot of fun, and to discover all about SG.
Do you know where i can find house sharing announcement ? Or students residences ? Im currently in a hostel for one week, but I have to find an other place to live as soon as possible.
Thanks a lot for helping me !

Ask your school - their hostels are your best bet!
Alternatively, ..com.sg - despite it saying "FREE" you have to pay to actually use it, but it costs much less than an agent.

I'm using . at the moment to look for
Short Term Accommodation, and I haven't paid anything to use the site yet. It's not bad if people use it correctly, and I've found some decent rooms on there (and some bad ones!) so definitely give it a go. The "premium" option might actually benefit you in this case though as it would speed things up if you are short on time (you can contact them easier).

Unless things have changed in the last few months, you can place an ad for free on ., but you cannot communicate with others who placed ads (or others cannot contact you through your ad) unless one of the two is a paying member.
They tell you this only after you have a message in your inbox and cannot read it until you pay ...

Actually, you can read messages (like forum private messages). Of course, then, communication will have to be through their site. Although, I've seen posts by people who got extra creative (e.g. "want do free hour hive sick even ate mine hero...")
