Application Status Check on MOM website - S-pass

Post by leelivio » Tue, 12 Jun 2012 6:28 pm

I'm just wondering if anyone has experience in checking the S-pass application on MOM website?

The story is that I got an offer from a company last Friday and they said they would apply S-pass for me, then today they called me and said the application was not approved. Then, I tried to check the application status on MOM website, but then after inputting my passport no. and name, the system responded with "Please enter a valid NRIC No/FIN/Malaysian New IC No.". So I wonder if the system is working or the company has applied S-pass for me.

So hard to get a job offer, anyone can help?? :???:

After inputting my passport no. and name, the system responded with "Please enter a valid NRIC No/FIN/Malaysian New IC No."

This is normal process to check the status, after Passport # & Name you must enter your FIN the next page will show you the result.

remember there is time frame to check status on MOM Web, cannot remember exactly, I think it is 8 - 8pm. you may check on day time.

There won't be a FIN number unless the computer programme has been updated. Sometimes that can take 2 or 3 days.
