Canadian/UWC/AIS -Aussies & Finns?

Post by LHB » Sun, 10 Jun 2012 8:15 pm

Hi, I know it can be tiresome for people reading similar questions, but I have to ask anyway if anyone can share their current experiences in the above schools. We are soon relocating from Melbourne and will come for a short visit in July. But we won't have a chance to see the Canadian and UWC in action. Interested to know the transportation, apart from the school buses, are both the Canadian and UWC serviced well by public transport from inner east coast. many thanks for any feedback. :)

Which campus for UWC? There are two - the one in Tampines is quite a ways out and not and easy commute, the one in Dover is fairly central. However, both are completely full and I can't imagine you'll get a spot this school year?

There are also two CIS campuses. Jurong campus is easy to get to by train now. Not sure about the other one.

There are a number of families at CIS "waiting" for a spot at UWC.

Thanks for your reply: movingtospore, Tampines campus was the one I was referring to. We have been told they have vacancies at our kids' year levels and they have advised us to apply. The Dover was full. Also, it was the Lakeside campus for the Canadian school as they go to yr12. Interesting to hear about the transport...it is a bit of a worry, especially for activities after school.
