PR rejected

Post by summerT » Wed, 06 Jun 2012 6:49 pm

I am a Malaysian. My PR was rejected in Nov'11, the ICA letter ask me to re-submit after 2years. But in Dec'11 my salary and position held have change.
Can I use this reason to appeal?[/quote]

Yes, you may have a chance but be prepared for ICA to tell you to resubmit after another 2 years

Just follow what ICA tells you. Not following what they tell you and flooding them with premature reapplication will spell the big fat word SPAM all over ICA, and no, they don't like it.

You are lucky that they ask you to reapply after two years. Most people who are rejected are told "to continue working on their current pass" because after their pass expires, MOM will take this opportunity to scoot them out of the country unless they have convince them otherwise.

Frankly, I'd wait two years. At the moment, they are looking for reasons to reject people. Having an applicant appeal after having been given a open opportunity to apply again after a specified time frame, just shows the gahmen that this applicant cannot follow simple directions, so what other problem will he give us later. Better reject him outright and send him packing. Think about it.
