Map of all the districts?

Post by SwissMissMama » Thu, 31 May 2012 2:37 am

Is there a map of all the districts in Singapore so I can get a sense of where we may want to live. Work will be in the Woodlands area and I have no idea if that is on a mass transit line and how far away the Woodlands is from the epicenter of Singapore where most expats live?

Thanks!

Which part of Woodlands will you work?

The reason I'm asking this is because Woodlands is a huge area with North South MRT line running through 4 stations: Kranji, Marsiling, Woodlands and Admiralty stations.

Great question! I am closest to Kranji station --- what do you think?

if google maps is too confusing, why not try gothere.sg (using govt maps) or onemap.sg (govt operated)

Just google "district map of singapore" and a bunch will appear.
I've been using something like this..

Ah that would be the west part of Woodlands.

You are definitely far from the so-called epicentre of expats activity which are Orchard, Bukit Timah. East Coast and CBD.

But fear not, many expats live around Upper Bukit Timah area (namely Hillview area, Jalan Anak Bukit area) so look it up the map, you will have the idea.

ZZM, now you know how we got the way we sometimes are! Especially considering there is a tab at the top of the page that says maps and it's hosted by our own portal.

I was going to make a nice video showing a mouse scrolling up and clicking it, but honestly I have problems too with that map. For me, I see a bunch of pulsing dots and some photo tiles super imposed on Singapore, but nothing happens no matter what I click.

This is Chrome on OS X, not a particularly obscure platform.
