Monetizing the condo carpark space

hi all,
has anyone tried to sublet this out? if so, how did you advertise for it and did it work out?

i live just outside the CBD and don't drive. i am entitled to a space but it's not allotted. any idea if management has the right to kick up a fuss if the registered vehicle owner turns out not to have a blood relationshiip with the unit owner?

Management will definitely kick up a fuss if they discover - but as I'm in the same position as you I feel the same way - why should other residents be allowed 3 /4 cars per unit without compensating me in anyway (you'd be amazed as to how much it costs with electricity and paint and cleaning to maintain the parking garage).

To advertise - use the classifieds sites. I'm not sure they'll notice that the reg is not in the same name as the tenant - just say its a boyfriend or something when you register it.
