German TC-channels in Singapore

We will be moving from Germany to Singapore in July and would like to have some German TV-channels in order to feel a little more home from the first day on.

To the Germans here: How did you manage to be able to watch German TV in Singapore? Via Internet? Via Apple TV?

AppleTV will only give you the shows that are available via iTunes Store (so you can check that yourself now) or by pirating.

I just watch the RTL Formula1 broadcast via http://www.youfreetv.net/. Internet is unbelievable slow here and the link breaks for about 1 minute every hour but it's better than nothing.
