roommate experience or own appartment

I would like to know what is the best...do you know some newspapers or websites where I can find this information in Singapore? What about your own experience?

Mike, you dont seem to make yr question very clear here.. u are asking our opinion on wether u shud have room mates or live on yr own? well it really depends on u innit? Do u want to live on yr own and can u afford to do so? If u cant afford to live on yr own u aint got no choice, you got to have room mates/flatmates.. in which case its pretty much the same anywhere else... u get the good ones and u get crappy ones.

when u live with roomies, its best to lay down all the stuff, boundaries, etc who does what, what rules there are for all to follow, just talk it out and put it down on paper, definitely put it down on paper and both sign to agree that the rules will be followed so that when one back tracks and doesnt do what was promised u can sit down again and say, hey, remember we had an agreement?...
